1. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for admission to Class VII must fulfill the following conditions:
- The candidate must have successfully passed Class VI from a recognized educational institution.
- The candidate must fulfill the prescribed age requirement for the relevant admission session.
- For the 2026 admission session, the candidate’s age was required to be not less than 11 years and not more than 13 years as on 1 March 2026.
- No relaxation in the prescribed age limit shall ordinarily be allowed.

3. Shortlisting for Interview

6. Final Selection
Final selection shall be made strictly on the basis of overall merit and the approved selection criteria.
